ACUTIFOLIA PLUMERIA FLORA GREETING CARD - 7' x 5'
The captivating scent of the
plumeria flowers whilst strolling along a tropical beach, the feminity
of them worn in the hair, a really beautiful flower. Also known
as Frangipanis as when the flower was first discovered its natural
perfume reminded people of the scented gloves worn in the 16th century,
created by Marquis Frangipani an Italian nobleman and inventor of
the perfume at the time.
The genus name, Plumeria, commemorates Charles Plumier, a seventeenth
century French botanist.
