RAJAH BROOKE'S BIRDWING BUTTERFLY 5' x 7' GREETING CARD
I photographed
this amazing rare butterfly in Malaysia. It was about the size of
my hand, absolutely captivating to watch the female teasing the
males circling on the thermals in the sky, just dazzling.
The Rajah Brooke’s Birdwing
(Troides brookiana) was first discovered by famous British naturalist
Alfred Russel Wallace (Darwin's moon) during one of his expeditions
to Borneo in 1855. He named it in honour of his friend Sir James
Brooke, the Rajah of Sarawak.
Title on back of card: NECTAR
The card is blank inside for your own special message. Bespoke envelopes
are iridescent green in colour.
